Soy una artista Japonesa que vivo en España, en Sevilla. Utilizo el arte como una forma de comunicación y como una manera de preguntar y abordar preguntas, compartirlas con otros y encontrar la verdad que estoy buscando.
Quiero expresar a través de mi arte los sentimientos, el alma y las emociones de la vida cotidiana en el lugar que me rodea. Me gusta conectar con el lugar donde voy a trabajar a través de la gente, el alma y el aire´.
El título de mi exposición Tomar el hilo es una metafora que hace referencia a retomar el curso de mi vida y reaunudar mi labor artística, y al mismo tiempo es la metáfora de tomar los hilos que vagan al viento de las telas con las que compongo y armo las obras que muestro en esta exposición.
Estos dibujos y collages textiles muestran la evolución de mi trabajo con las mujeres saharauis que surgió a partir de mi primera visita en 2011 a los campamentos de población refugiada de Tinduf , en Argelia . Los trozos de tela con los que trabajo son parte la colorida vestimenta tradicional de la mujer sahatraui; la melhfa, una pieza de 4 metros de tela de brillantes y llamativos colores tintados amano, con la que las mujeres envuelven su cuerpo y su cabello para protegerse del sol y de las inclemencias dureza del clima y al mismo tiempo sentirse bonitas. Le pedí a muchas mujeres amigas que me dieran voluntariamente un pedacito de su melhfa, y todas ellas colaboraron gustosas y orgullosas de ser mujeres resistentes en este conflicto. Los trozos de sus melfas forman mi paleta multicolor, que coso, pego, uno, trazo, entretejo, ato, enlazo y confronto, para conformar estas obras textiles que se deslizan sinuosamente entre la delgada linea que separa lo figurativo y lo abstracto y como el desierto, muestran el todo o nada.

I am a Japanese artist who lives in Spain, in Seville. I use art as a form of communication and as a way to ask and address questions, share them with others and find the truth I am looking for.
I want to express through my art the feelings, the soul and the emotions of everyday life in the place that surrounds me. I like to connect with the place where I will work through people, the soul and the air.
The title of my exhibition Tomar el hilo “take the thread” is a metaphor that refers to retake the course of my life and reopen my artistic work, and at the same time is the metaphor of taking the threads that roam the wind of the fabrics with which I compose and I assemble the works that I show in this exhibition.
These drawings and textile collages show the evolution of my work with the Sahrawi women that emerged from my first visit in 2011 to the refugee camps of Tindouf, in Algeria. The pieces of fabric with which I work are part of the colorful traditional dress of the Sahatraui woman; the melhfa, a piece of 4 meters of fabric of bright and striking tinted colors amano, with which women wrap their body and hair to protect themselves from the sun and the harsh weather and at the same time feel beautiful. I asked many female friends to voluntarily give me a piece of their melhfa, and all of them collaborated willingly and proud to be resistant women in this conflict. The pieces of their melfas form my multicolored palette, which I sew, I paste, one, stroke, weave, tie, bind and confront, to form these textile works that slide sinuously between the thin line that separates the figurative and the abstract and as the desert, shows the all or nothing.
