The extensive range of Lita Mora’s work has reached a maturity that blends all the elements of her earlier paintings. She has had a consistency throughout her artistic development incorporating her mythological and world views and these can be clearly seen in these latest works.
Increasingly she has transcended the limited spaces of the work, increasing spacial parameters and transcending the borders, the linear formats are extended to the vertical and horizontal spaces … by eliminating the differences between the work and the exhibition space.
She combines the sensitivity of a mature artist with her own version of western mythology.
